Vision Mode
Chess Vision is a skill every player must eventually possess. It comes with practice and with this set of drills. Currently there is only one Chess Vision drill, but I will add more as time goes on.
Knight Sight
Many players, especially beginning ones, fear the lethal knight. This drill is designed to help you master the mounted piece! Basically you must hop the knight to the destination square in as few moves as possible. At the lowest level this is quite simple, there are no pieces on the board and you can pretty much go straight there. However at the higher levels it gets pretty complicated as the board is randomly filled with pawns. You must move to the destination without putting your knight in danger, but you may capture pawns if it is safe to do so. Use the hint mode if you get hopelessly stuck (see below)

Toolbar Controls
- Mode: This button is common to all screens, and is how you switch between modes (Play, Setup, Drills, Vision, and Analyse Mode)
- Options: Opens the Options Dialog
- New: Starts a new drill.
- Reset: Resets the current drill back to the beginning, especially useful for the long drills at the higher levels.
- Back: Go back one level
- Goto: Go to a specific level, from 1 to 20
- Next: Advance one level
- Hint: This turns on hint mode. You specify the depth you want to see, for example a depth of 3 will show all destinations 3 squares away. The picture to the right has a hint mode of 7 set. These hints will help you determine the shortest path to the square.
