Play Mode
Play Mode is where you actually play against a friend, or against a computer opponent. Another really useful thing to do with this mode is to use it to record a real game you are playing against a friend. Then you can save the game in PGN format and both you and your opponent can analyse the game and see where you went wrong.
One of the most useful features of this mode is the ability to copy and paste up to four board positions into the current game. When you copy a board position, the game from its starting position (either the beginning of the game or the last time you modified the board with Setup Mode) to its current position is stored in the clipboard. When you Paste, you are given a choice of four boards in miniature. Simply select one of the four boards to paste it into the game.
